Project D360 is an innovative initiative designed to create a user-friendly dashboard specifically for Amazon, focused on displaying comprehensive data related to Apple products. This dashboard aims to serve as a vital tool for Amazon's stakeholders, providing clear and accessible insights into various sales metrics. Users will be able to easily navigate through detailed reports that highlight sales figures, identify the most popular Apple items among consumers, and analyze trends over time. The platform will feature dynamic visualizations that break down data week-by-week and year-by-year, enabling users to make informed decisions based on historical performance and current market trends. By streamlining the presentation of this information, Project D360 aspires to enhance user experience and facilitate strategic planning for future product offerings.
This project represents a significant "0 to 1" development, marking the transition from initial concept to actionable implementation. As part of this process, I have conducted two weekly meetings with Amazon clients, during which we engaged in in-depth discussions to gather valuable feedback and insights. These collaborative sessions were instrumental in identifying key user needs and preferences, allowing us to brainstorm creative ideas that would shape the dashboard’s functionality and design. Throughout these meetings, I meticulously documented notes to capture all relevant information and suggestions. In this case study, I will delve into one of the key insights derived from our discussions, focusing on the user flow. This insight not only illustrates how users will interact with the dashboard but also highlights the strategic considerations that will enhance their overall experience and ensure the platform meets its intended goals.
Below is the final Figma prototype demo, which showcases how the user flow functions in practice. Feel free to click through the prototype below to experience the various features and navigation elements firsthand, gaining insights into how users will interact with the dashboard.
As many people know, Apple is renowned for its intuitive user interface design, setting a high standard in the tech industry. To ensure our project met these expectations, we conducted numerous meetings focused on refining the new designs, making sure that each feature functioned seamlessly and aligned perfectly with Apple's established design libraries. This collaborative process involved meticulous attention to detail, as we aimed to create an interface that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional. After presenting our demos, we received excellent feedback from Amazon, which affirmed that the design effectively captured the essence of Apple's user experience while addressing the specific needs of Amazon's platform.
